This game is a multiplayer adventure RPG set in a fantasy world.
A fantasy in reality
A group of players (5-7) sets off a journey in the fantasy world and a Game Master will explain and illustrate the story to them. The game is played in real time and places, and the players will need to acquire keys to unlock the next chapter of the story. Although they will be given recommended places to play the game, it would still be great if the players wish to move the game world to anywhere they prefer, including their own backyards!
Buff and debuff
Just to make the game more fun, the performance of the characters may vary slightly at different locations or times of the day. Each class may get a buff or debuff because of the weather, the time and your surroundings -- maybe the rain will grant the mage more mana, while snipers perform better during daytime. With this buff feature, the players can have more possibilities and can come up with even more strategies.
Live in A story
Just like other RPG, the players will 'live' in the fantasy world and start their exploration as a group of adventurers. You will move from places to places, meet new NPCs, fight monsters and solve mysteries in the world they imagine and 'superimpose' onto the reality.
Teamwork
The story is written for and by all adventurers, therefore teamwork is crucial in order to move on in the story and get rewards. This game requires the team to make decisions together. They will level up as a team, work as a team and fight as a team. You gotta need each other when solving mysteries and fighting monsters. Think of it as a MOBA game, no one's left out in the game!
Fight the monsters
Monsters are important in this game, they are in the main quests which help the story develop. I tried to give some theories behind them, about why and how they exist, which will eventually lead to the ending of the story. Besides, the big ones give you the key to the next parts of the story.
Combats
(Have I convinced you to fight monsters yet?) There are 2 modes of the combat: Casual and Standard, which have different stats for the weapons and monsters. To balance the game, the players' damage dealt will be moderated to some extent, but they can still do what they want, like walking in the air or throwing a pigeon at the monsters.
Different environment, different experience
Why playing the game in different places? The point is it allows for different strategies. Monsters appear different when in different surroundings, and more importantly, you gotta imagine how to fight the monsters right in your location. Are you going to hide behind the bushes in the park or climb up a building on the street? You'd never know until you start playing the game. Interaction with the NPCs may also vary depending on your location!
That decision maker
The Game Master with the game instruction booklet tells players what to do, but he is not just reading off the pages (he can, though). The GM can spice up the story a little, by adding more descriptions, more NPCs, or describing their own monsters to the players. They will also monitor the gameplay with help from the instructions, deciding the fate of the players (well, kind of).
